Setting SSD on Ubuntu

Got SSD SanDisk Extreme 500GB. Connected USB into my Ubuntu 16.04 desktop and got this error..

Error mounting /dev/sdc1 at /media/user/Extreme SSD: Command-line `mount -t "exfat" -o "uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,namecase=0,errors=remount-ro,umask=0077" "/dev/sdc1" "/media/user/Extreme SSD"' exited with non-zero exit status 32: mount: unknown filesystem type 'exfat'

After searching for a while, I found I need to format for the first time.

Just open "Files" and right click SSD, select "format". NTFS and overwrite(slow), it took about 30 minutes. On "Disks" window, it can been seen something is happening on SSD.
