Ubuntu 16.04.
When I using chrome, suddenly flicker started. It started when I opened emf file with double clicking unintentionally. Just deleted the application appeared, but flicker started.
Solution:
Chrome setting
-> Advanced
-> Turn OFF "Use hardware acceleration when available"
-> Restore Chrome
